CareWorks
is not a substitute for your family doctor. And
it is not designed for true emergencies or serious
medical conditions. Remember, in a true medical
emergency, call 911.
How
it works:
-
If the provider is with a patient when you arrive,
sign in at the desk and take a pager. You can shop
while you wait. Our provider will page you when
they are done with the previous patient.
-
Once it is your turn, you will be escorted into a
private, comfortable treatment area where
conversation and care are kept strictly
confidential.
-
The visit should take about 15 - 20 minutes per
person.
-
If you get a prescription, you can have it filled
at the in-store pharmacy or at any drug store you
choose.
-
If you choose, your family physician will be
notified after your visit in case any follow-up
care is needed.
